On Tuesday 15 October – in conjunction with the Galvanizers Association – we opened the doors of our Corby and Hull plants to the public, to showcase how we operate.
The day was a great success and we enjoyed showing people around.
We showed guests how steel is dipped into zinc in the galvanizing baths to protect it from rust and corrosion. We also showed them how the plants operate in terms of Goods In and Goods Out. Guests were also able to meet some of our team members and ask any questions they had about galvanizing, shot blasting, powder coating, duplex coatings and steel protection.
If you attended the Open Days, we thank you for coming along.
It was an absolute pleasure to host the day, and we look forward to taking part again in 2020. Look out for photos of the event on our social media profiles.
